To the family of Mr.Leslie Mitchell I wish to express my sincere sympathy with you all.
My name is CherylAnn Bailey-Bramble, you may not know me but when I am one off Jehovah's witiness i have read of the passing of your loved one I wanted to share some words of comfort, words that brought me comfort at the death of my loved ones.
"Praised be the God and Father of our lord Jesus Christ, and the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." 2 Corinthians 1:3,4
Jesus in speaking to his disciples about the death of his dear friend Lazarus said at John 11:11,13,14 'Lazarus our friend has fallen asleep, but I am travelling to awaken him.' Jesus, however, had spoken about his death. But they imagined he was speaking about taking a rest in sleep. Then Jesus said to them plainly: 'Lazarus has died.' Noticed Jesus did not say that Lazarus had gone to heaven or that he was with his other departed loved ones nor that he was burning in a hell fire, he said Lazarus was asleep. So you can draw comfort from these words, that your beloved 'Leslie' is not suffering anywhere but he is asleep, and a sleep that Jesus can awaken him from. God tells us in his word the Bible, that the time will soon come when those asleep in the grave will be resurrected (Acts 24:15) You too can take comfort and look forward to that time when you can see your loved one again.

May your family have peace. Losing a loved one is a difficult experience, learning how to move on even more so. The love you shared is a bond that will linger in your lives, giving you bittersweet memories. What helped my family through the grieving process is the comfort found in Jehovah’s word. At 1 Peter 5:7 we receive a warm reminder that Jehovah cares for us as individuals, especially now. He provides a hope that we look forward to recorded at Acts 24:15 which in part speaks about a resurrection of our dead loved ones. The Bible holds more of Jehovah’s promises for our wonderful future. If you would like to learn more please visit our website at ‘jw.org’ and browse under the heading BIBLE TEACHINGS where you will find a list of sub headings to choose from.
May your family be rewarded with happiness and peace as you search Jehovah’s word for answers.
Yours Sincerely
Matthew
