Please accept my sympathy on the passing of your beloved 'Jocelyn'. When I read about the death of your loved one I wanted to share a message of comfort. I have lost loved ones in death and the pain and grief that it brings is one that we can never get accustom to, it leaves a void and feeling of emptiness. There is hope though, a hope that God has promised us in his word the Bible.
God assures us at Ezekiel 18:32 that he is not responsible for the death of anyone “‘I do not take any pleasure in the death of anyone,’ declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. ‘So turn back and live.’” So God did not take your beloved 'Jocelyn' as many will say. Ecclesiastes 9:5 "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten." Knowing the true condition of the dead frees us from any fear we may have, also knowing that your loved one is no longer suffering can also bring comfort.
