My condolences and sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Ms. Norma. My name is Tricia Mills, you may not know me but when I read of the death of your beloved one I wanted to share some word's of comfort.
Death is something we can never get accustom to or come terms with because it was never a apart of God's original plan for mankind. Ezekiel 18:32 "For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye." (KJV) So when someone dies, God is not responsible, he hasn't taken your beloved 'Norma' to a better place and many say. What happens then when we die? Jesus in talking to his disciples about the death of Lazarus,referred to Lazarus as being asleep, at John 11:11,13,14 "These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead."(KJV)
Notice Jesus didn't say that Lazarus was in heaven or suffering in hell, but that he was asleep in death, asleep. A sleep that he, Jesus, was able to awaken him from.
So you can take comfort knowing that you beloved 'Norma' is not suffering and Jesus, God's Son, can and will awaken her in the future resurrection to life on earth.(Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:29)
