May the "God of all comfort" comfort you in your time of grief. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) Losing a loved one in death brings great grief and pain. No matter who we are or where me might live, we are all faced with death at some time. Why do we die? What happens to us when we die? What hope is there for us and our dead loved ones? Millions around the world ask themselves questions like these when dealing with the lost of a loved one. God's word the Bible helps in answering these questions and also provides comfort to the loved ones who are grieving.
Romans 5:12 "Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned-." So because of inherited sin we are all faced with dying. God gives us hope though at John 5:28,29 "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." Psalm 37:29 "The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it." Yes God gives us the assurance of a better time to come, the time to come when you can see you dearly beloved 'Seedai' again, under better conditions and never to be faced with death.
