"Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God."-1 Corinthians 1:3
May these words bring you comfort during your time of grief. Death is described as an 'enemy' and 'sting' to mankind. It brings great pain and grief to the loved ones but God gives us comfort. He assures us that the time is coming when death will be no more, Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." So you can look forward to that time when death will no longer be bringing pain and grief but you may wonder,What hope is there for your dear beloved Curtis? Acts 24:15 "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." I am attaching a link below that can provide you with more information on the scriptural hope for the dead.
