My condolences to the loved ones of Mr. Kalicharan 'Kal' Persad. Death brings a pain that we struggle to deal with, the Bible describes death as an enemy, a sting. God never purposed for humankind to grow old, get sick and die, but then why do grow, get sick and die? Romans 5:12 "That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned.", so because of sin we die. But what hope is there for us when die? Acts 24:15 "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." and the Bible also assures of the time to come when death will be no more, Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." What a time that will be, no more death and seeing our dead loved ones again.
