It's been just more than a month... and I still can't believe you're gone my sweet godbrother, and I think of you nearly every day...I miss your smile, your stories, your thoughts...I miss you. Visiting you and your mom were always a must and a highlight for me even if it was just for an hour or so...just to say hello and see your face...now that's gone forever and visits will never be the same anymore. Rest peacefully my sweet and smart Colin. I miss you and love you.

It has been 9 days since you left this world my friend; quite frankly I am still trying to grasp the reality of what occurred and once again I am at a lost for words.
This is hard for me to process, my heart hurts every time I think about the events of late. Questions arise constantly and my brain keeps spiraling. My tears that ran rivers haven't yet come to an end. A best friend, an amazing person, someone who I saw as a brother, a person I was proud of.
I am not really sure of much right now, the only thing i may be sure about is knowing that one of the most amazing persons that you will ever get to know isn't around anymore.
It shouldn't have happened the way it did.
I wouldn't say goodbye, but most definitely I will see you later my friend.

I remember the good times. This child likes his roti, biscuits, muffins and any thing sweet. Always looking forward to when his Uncle Tony coming down to Trinidad bringing burger and good treats for him. Dear beautiful,hand some , and loving young man we will dearly miss you so intelligent

I remember you sweet Colin, busy and super super smart. I met you when you were about 5 years old. I am your mother's cousin, and that was the last time I saw you. You remained with the same sweet face as I last saw you. Only god knows why you were taken the way you were, it is very hard and sad to know you were taken away from you mom like that. I wish you peace as you go through the light to meet your maker and the loved ones that await you. Your grandmother loved you so very much and I know she will receive you with waiting arms. Cousin Pamela my deepest condolences to you and the family may god wrap his arms around everyone and give you peace understanding and love at this very difficult time. Collin was with you, you birth him and nurtured and loved him until the end, I cannot imagine the pain you are feeling, their is nothing anyone can say to help ease that pain. Words cannot be expressed what a mother is feeling right now. One moment you were full of life and in the twinkling of an eye you were gone. I was even afforded the opportunity to say a final farewell to you. I know that the angels have taken charge of your short but good and intellectual life here on earth.
