The light, the strength of her presence is undoubtedly absent. As we come into the world so shall we go, as a whisper...
Hymn: I must have the Saviour with me,
For I dare not go alone,
I must feel His presence near me,
And His arm around me thrown.
Refrain Then my soul shall fear no ill, fear no ill,
Let Him lead me where He will, where He will,
I will go without a murmur,
And His footsteps follow still. I must have the Saviour with me,
For my faith, at best, is weak;
He can whisper words of comfort,
That no other voice can speak.
Refrain I must have the Saviour with me,
In the onward march of life,
Thro’ the tempest and the sunshine, Thro’ the battle and the strife.
Refrain I must have the Saviour with me,
And His eye the way must guide,
Till I reach the vale of Jordan,
Till I cross the rolling tide.

To my Auntie Edna .....
Although my heart is heavy, I know your are with the King.I came across this scripture (John 10:9 ) I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture...... It reminded me of this one time I spent the night at your apartment in NY and everytime I walked through a doorway I would stumble over a small Bible. Why did Auntie have all these Bibles in the doorways?
Well God showed me this scripture today in His last book of the Bible (Revelation 3:20-21) Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.
Auntie you opened the door and have been victorious!!!
I'll miss that beautiful smile
WE LOVE YOU Auntie Edna
Until we meet again.....
