A good sign of a universally loved woman (if she has kids) is if all of her children's friends decide that they'll be co-opting her as their mother as well - in name as well as in affection. And believe me, we all did.
That's not because she was a pushover or put on the "look at me, I'm a cool Mom" act. In fact, no one could hold a candle to her dismissive steups or surprisingly elegant "allyuh get out my room with your stupidness, please." It was exactly that genuine nature - her refusal to hide affection or annoyance - that made us love being in her presence so much. For many of us, she was the first adult that, while commanding the respect she richly deserved, also felt like a friend.
And this friend made life *great*. From the ole talk about which neighbours needed to take themselves less seriously to her Blockbuster-esque DVD flim (not a typo) collection that was surely Trinidad's finest, there was many an excuse to find yourself at the top of the hill daily. Oh yeah - and I guess those kids of hers I considered friends. (J/K. They're the best and I love them to death. Except Quincy.)
And the food. Oh Goddo the food. Come on guys - How many times did we feign surprise looking at our watches as we arrived: "Oh my, is it lunch time? I had no idea! Well if there's extra I suppose I'll have a plate." Pure heaven.
I feel incredibly lucky that Aunty Barbara/Moms appeared and graced our little street with her one of a kind soul and energy. Not only did I gain a best friend, teenage crush and badjohn lil brother in one shot, but also the best second mom anyone could ask for.
Love you guys.

My deepest condolences to the family. She was a kind soul and a great mom. A gem of a person; always caring and loving to the students in Sonja's classes. Rest in perfect peace.

Sigh, Aunty you will be greatly missed. You were so kind and ready to chat with me at any opportunity we got, whether it was about life or plants or anything really. I'll miss those little moments the most. You entrusted some cacti with me even though I said I had a very brown thumb and they're still going strong, I'll try my best to keep them alive and well. Thank you for your time, effort and love. I'm so grateful to have met you during my time at Nestlé, there's definitely no one like you. It was an absolute pleasure knowing you. To her family and close friends, I know this is a tough loss, know that my prayers and thoughts are with you.

Condolences goes out to the family of Indira Barbara seuarine. Please allow me to share some encouraging words with you from Gods word. It is very heartbreaking when we have lost a loved one in death, I have found that God’s word and prayer can be of help in dealing with our grief. Revelation 21:3,4 shows that God will wipe away all tears from our eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away,
isn’t this good news? Being able to see our love ones again? To live forever under peaceful conditions, with no one getting sick and dying, do you think all that is possible? In God’s word at Titus 1:2,3 gives us the answer. So whatever God has promised it will come to pass.He cannot Lie. Would you like to know more ?please visit our website at (www.jw.org or email me at latch 2017@icloud.com) I hope these words are of comfort to the family and thank you for reading.
