Death is something that no matter how many times we may be faced with it, we can never get accustom to it. The Bible tells us at Ecclesiastes 3:11 "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has even put eternity in their heart;...." so God has made us with eternity in our hearts so he never meant for humans to die. But why do we die? Romans 5:12 "That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the word and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned." so because of inherited sin we die but the Bible gives us the assurance that God will remove death, at 1 Corinthians 15:12 "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." So we can look forward to the time when death will be no more.
