I am writing this simply to offer comfort to the loved ones of Mrs. Laura. I do not know you and you do not know me, but death affects everybody and I know first hand how it feels to grieve. What I wanted to share with you is the bible verse found at John 5:28, 29, it says "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This scripture helps us to see that there is hope for our dead loved ones. Gods word the bible foretells a time when we will be reunited with those we lost to death. I hope my words was able to offer some comfort to you.

Ma Conyette was like my 2nd mother. I remember every ole years night ,it was a tradition black eye peas & rice with the "boys" Kirby, Straker (died a week ago Terry,Oscar, Ming, Wamba, to name a few. We would take her bed sheets, cut it up to make kite tail. Boy those were the days. Rest in peace "mom".You have moved on to a higher plane of existence.
