To the family of the late Mazmoon, My heart was deeply touched upon reading the obrbituaries of the late Mazmoon. Mrs. Mazmoon seemed to me to be a person with a big heart who touched the lives of many. How sad it would have been at his falling asleep in death! Death is truly an enemy as the Bible says. (1 Cor. 15:26) But the Bible also teaches among other things that we no longer have to be saddened by death forever. At Reverlation chapter 21 verses 3 & 4 it says: "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Notice that the scripture says that 'the tent of God' will be with mankind. And that 'death will be no more'. When that tent is over mankind on earth death will be no more. So the pain that accompanies the death of a loved one will be a thing of the past! Imagine that! But you may wonder: 'Can I really believe what the Bible says about death?' Also 'What hope there is for the dead?' These answers can be found on the website jw.org.
