To the family of Gloria John Mata: My deepest condolences for you and your family members. Please allow me to share some comfort from God’s word with you, It is heart wrenching to to lose our love one’s in death and the sad reality is, that is what awaits us all. No matter how hard we try, we are not able to to escape the effects of aging and death. We are described in the Bible as: a morning mist that appears for a little while and then disappears.( James 4:14) God’s word can give us hope when dealing with our grief. For example John 5:28,29 says that there is going to be a resurrection, that is a bringing back to life those who have fallen asleep in death. Isn’t this good news being able to see our love ones again to live in true peace and security where no one will get sick and die? But how can we the living benefit from these promises?
