Please accept my sincere condolences. The death of a loved one makes us sad and creates a void that cannot be filled . In this time of emotional distress , you will need comfort . Take courage in knowing that you can draw strength from our God and creator, because he knows, how you feel.
At Jeremiah 8:18 it says "My grief is incurable. My heart is sick ." Is that how you feel?
God promises that we can be reunited with our loved ones, this is his promise to us.
At Acts 24:15 it says " There is going to be a resurrection ."
This is a wonderful promise to all of us.
To know how and when this will happen ; please visit our website at jw.org

To the children of Laurencia Byron please accept my sympathy on the death of your mother. One of the saddest things someone can experience is the death of a loved one. It is comforting to know that Jesus compared death to a peaceful sleep at John 11:11. We are assured that just as a person who is asleep is unaware of what is happening around him,the dead are not conscious of anything as Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 says.
The Bible can offer much needed comfort for those who are grieving and even gives us hope with God's promise of bringing the dead back to life right here on the earth in the future when it is cleaned up (Acts 24:15). For more information please visit jw.org.
