Please accept my sympathy on the passing of your loved one. Death is something that as humans we will never get accustomed to. The Bible describes death as an 'Enemy' and a 'Sting', that was not a part of God's original plan and purpose for mankind. Why then are we now faced with this painful enemy and is there any hope for the future? God provides us with the answer to these questions in his word the Bible.
Romans 5:12 "Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned." So because of the disobedience of our first parents Adam and Eve, we are now all faced with this defect of sin and death.
Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents of the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life."
1 Corinthians 15:26 "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." Imagine that time, when you can see your dearly beloved 'Francis' again, never to be lost death, and this will all be under better conditions as Revelation 21:4 tells us that there will be no more "mourning nor outcry no pain....the former things have passed away." What a comforting hope to have, and it is all possible with Jehovah God, who does not lie.
May these words comfort you in your time of grief. Feel free to visit our official website at JW.ORG where you can find more information on God's comforting message and hope for mankind.
