Growing up you have always been an inspiration to me, then embracing my son as yours and helping to build his music career is unforgettable and priceless. As a cousin i will never forget you, as a friend will miss you, as a musician i will keep on enjoying your sensational pan music, rest in comfort and peace in your saviors arm
May you sleep in perfect peace.
To a remarkable human being that contributed so much to the arts of our steel pan, you will be solely missed.
But the big man upstairs has other plan, so fly high and know that you will live in our hearts FOREVER!
We are truly saddened by the sudden passing of Ken "Professor" Philmore. His music and his performance with the Orchestra as we celebrated our 25th Anniversary in 2006 was truly an inspiring experience. We were truly blessed to have shared in that awe inspiring part of his life. Sadly, another one of our friends and mentors have transitioned to perform for the Almighty on this glorious instrument, the steelpan. We merely ask that he conveys our continuous love and gratitude to Dr. Jit Samaroo and Herman Guppy Browne during their reunion performance. My sincere condolences to his wife, extended family and to all who knew and loved him and his music. Please know that we too share your loss. Peace and blessings!
We will miss you. You are one of the most beautiful persons I have met. Your positive infectious character will always live in our hearts. Thanks for the music. Thanks for the love for your country.
Go and soar and play with the angels. God will keep you safe. Rest in Peace, Brother!
