Hi my name is Ne-el Warren, you will not know me but I read about your dear Akil. I felt compelled to express my condolences to you. I can't imagine the pain you are experiencing at this time. Loosing a love one in death could be one of the hardest things to go through. It can leave us with a void that seems impossible to fill. Many persons wonder if they can see their love ones again? If they can hear us or harm us? But it is comforting to know what the Bible says at Ecclesiastes chapter 9 verse 5 "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten". So knowing the true condition of the dead can really free us of any fear that we may experience. Also knowing that they are no longer suffering can be of comfort to us. Good day! To the family of the late Akil Stafford, You don’t know me but my heart was pained along with the nation to hear of the passing of Mr. Akil Stafford. He seemed to be a kind hearted soul. Death is never something nice. But you may wonder ‘is death the end of everything?’ What the Bible teaches gives us hope. At John chapter 5 verses 28, 29 it says in part: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out....” Resurrection means ‘a standing up again.’ So when a person has died it is as though the person has fallen down in death. But the person is able to stand back up again alive with God’s help.
